Joongang Municipal Library

Detailed introduction

In August 1989, the establishment procedure of the library was completed and the library building was completed in December 1989. It opened in April 1990 and changed its name to the Busan Metropolitan Joongang Municipal Library in January 1995. In January 1999, the Jung-gu Office acquired the Sujeong branch of Busan Metropolitan City.

The collections include 126,341 books and 936 pieces of CD-ROM and videotape and Sujeong branch has 13,417 books.
Each person can check out 3 books at a time and for a week. The library is closed on a regular basis every Monday, holidays and can be temporarily admitted with the director’s permission.
