Dear citizens,

I am Choi, Jin-bong, Mayor of Jung-gu and a resident who loves and knows the city inside out. First of all, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you visiting Jung-gu, a city full of romance and memories of Korean modern history,

Jung-gu, one of the most attractive places in terms of culture and tourism highlights the characteristic of Busan, with stories of people along the alleyways of Sanbokdo-ro, a hillside road. It also is filled with seasonally-inspired culture.

I, as Mayor of Jun-gu, am devoted to making Jung-gu better, improving the quality of residents’ lives, and promoting greater visions. For example, I will make the Busan North Port Redevelopment a core project for Busan’s regeneration plan of its old downtowns and implement the Yongdo Mountain Public Parking Lot Site Development. Such efforts also can lead in the development in Busan.
