It was built in 1910 as a drainage basin that drained water from the Sungji Stream Reservoir and supplied it to the families of Busan citizens. It consists of 3 ponds. In accordance with the general type of reservoirs, the reservoir is installed in the basement, and the lawn was planted after it was covered with soil.
The filtration facility entrance and walls are under-brick concrete or red brick, and the upper part of the wall is covered with stone. The entrance is a stone door frame in the form of an arch, with a door plate on it.
With the completion of the Bokbyeongsan Reservoir, Busan is expected to enter an era of a full-scale waterworks, and it is of great value to the modern water history of Busan.
